Jiajiri Business Dialogue Event

SUGECO in collaboration with Tanzania Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Students Association (TAGRESA) conducted a 4th JIAJIRI BUSINESS DIALOGUE event on 21st April 2018. It took place at (SUA) Mazimbu Campus. The event brought together University and College students of Morogoro Region to share experiences with successful entrepreneurs who are engaging in Agri-preneurship value chains and other sectors.

It was a very productive day where students were lucky to meet with one of the top 15 motivational speakers in Tanzania Mr. Benjamin Fernandez who is also the first Tanzanian to attend Stanford Graduate School of Business as an Africa MBA Fellow and worked with Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

 Also " MALKIA WA NGUVU 2018" Dr. Anna Temu, Avith Kilawe founder of EA Fruits Farm & Co Ltd, and SUGECO members who own their own enterprises participated in the event. Elia Kinshaga a youth engaging in processing pineapple and spices (Director and Founder of Kinshaga Food Products and Companies Ltd),  and Octavian Lasway (Director and Founder of Green Agriculture Company) were also present in the event to share with students their experiences in Agribusiness Entrepreneurship.

Apart from SUGECO staff who were present, Mr. Joseph Massimba and Board member Dr. Ndyetabula presented Entrepreneurship skills and Mindset change respectively.

Generaly, in this year, 600+ youths participated in the event  which makes a total number of 2500+ youths since the establishment of this initiative in the year 2015.
